Unexpected Suprise

In an unexpected move, Ashton has decided that it is time to walk. He took his first little steps today. During the morning he was taking two small steps, and by the time Sandra played with him tonight, he was taking 6 steps at a time. There is NO slowing this little guy down. The big day has finally arrived. We appeared before Judge Johnson and legally became Ashton's Mom and Dad. Even though we have thought of him as our son since the day we brought him home, there was something special in having the hearing and announcing to the world that he is our child. I don't know if you can tell from the pic's or not, but we are very proud and look forward to the many days/months/years/decades to come.

Summer Fun

Summer is in full swing here in the Wylie household. Ashton really likes to Fly through the house. Ashton is staying up for longer periods during the day and has slept through the night for about 4 weeks. He is getting more adventurous and is walking along the furniture. His new trick is to completely let go of things and see how long he can stand by himself.

The bottom pictures are of Ashton's first Popsicle. It was a hit. Today we are going to try ice cream.
